I love wrestling. I wrestle each match like it’s my last, I will always wrestle that way. If I can’t, then I won’t do it anymore. I could never be a shell of myself and if if I can’t have the best match of the night, then I will retire.
I’ve had injuries that could have put me into retirement, but God has been good to me. Also, I am a fighter, I will keep fighting until I have nothing left to give. By no means am I a cyborg, but I’ve earned that reputation. I love what I do and as long as I love it, I will continue on this path.
I am a wrestler with every shred of me. I’ve won Olympic Gold and I’ve won titles, but the biggest compliment to me is going down in history as being one of the greatest of all time, both amateur and pro. I believe that I have earned that honor. I love wrestling and I love the fans of wrestling. That is why I do it and that it what makes me who I am. I take pride in every match I can and try to steal the show. If you don’t see that, then you haven’t been watching.
