Do you sit around sometimes wondering why other people have such easy lives? Maybe someone you know won the lottery or a lawsuit, or somebody received large amount of money in an inheritance? Not related to money, how about the people you know who can eat whatever they want and they remain thin? And you can’t?
Seriously….. What’s going on here? I used to pray when I was a kid that if I won $100 million in the lottery I’d give half to charity. I think we all have said that. As if giving away half of that amount is some kind of good gesture. It’s not. Giving ALL of it would be.
Getting back to why people have it so easy and you don’t, did you ever think that God didn’t have that plan for you? That He has something else in mind for you? I’ve never had it easy, and I’m so grateful for that. I’ve always had to work twice as hard to be successful. I have realized that God has blessed me with the ability to never quit, and that my purpose in this world is not to be rich. My purpose is to send a message that we all have incredible God given gifts and that we should utilize them.
What are your strengths and what are your weaknesses? If you sit down and map them out, you will have a much better grasp on what He wants you to achieve. God may not intend for you to be wealthy, but He does have a plan for you to make a difference. We can all do something to make a difference, or we wouldn’t be here.
But do NOT shy away from your weaknesses, because they could end up being your strengths down the line. Work hard and stay focused. It will come eventually. And never quit on anything, not God, not family, not your job or school or whatever sport you play. Work at it, and God will lead you to where He wants you to go. It’s not rocket science. Don’t ever quit, and your time will come. Oh it’s damn true!
