I’m sure many of you have told yourselves “I can’t do it” at some point in your lives. We believe that we aren’t good enough to do extraordinary things. The reality is that many ordinary people have done extraordinary things. They had a dream and stuck with it, seeing it through until the end and making that dream a reality. The truth is, if you don’t do it, someone else will, so why not make it you?
I was a little boy from a lower-middle class family who had a big dream. Many people told me “You can’t do that.” I didn’t let them get into my head, and instead, I thought to myself: “Why can’t I? It’s my dream!”
No matter how young or old you are, or what your dream is, remember that all things are possible. Start with a dream and do what you have to do in order to make it a reality. I didn’t say it would be easy, but you CAN do it, and someday, you will be able to look back and tell yourself “I did it!” From the bottom of my heart, I hope you all reach your dreams so you can tell yourselves those 3 words “I did it,” for when you do, you will make this world a better place, one dream at a time.
